India won the ICC ODI World Cup in 2011 at home. The MS Dhoni-led side won the final against Sri Lanka and thus got their hands on the elusive trophy after 28 years.
And a player who played in the Final has been living his life in a different way. From the glamour and celebrity lifestyle, the player has gone on to live a modest life far away from his home.

We are talking about the Sri Lankan spinner Suraj Randiv. Randiv was a regular in the Sri Lanka team from 2010 to 2012. He played sporadically after that in the ODI format and then retired from the game in 2016.
And since leaving cricket, the player has been living life in a different way. Randiv, now 38-year-old, is living his life as a bus driver for an Australian transport company Transdev. He now lives in Australia and has chosen that profession to live his life, far away from the blitz of cricket and its associated components.
Randiv not only played for Sri Lanka, but took part in the IPL as well with Chennai Super Kings. The player was part of CSK's IPL winning squad in 2011. The bowler has picked up 43 wickets in 12 matches in Tests, while has 36 scalps in 31 matches. In IPL, Randiv played 6 matches and picked up six wickets.
