Former cricketer Tufnell set to spin his pins on 'Strictly Come Dancing'

London, Aug 21(ANI): English television personality and former cricketer Phil Tufnell has signed up to appear in a television show called 'Strictly Come Dancing', which features celebrities with professional dance partners competing in Ballroom and Latin dances.

The former spin-bowler is already in training for the BBC1 ballroom hit after agreeing to a fee of around 30,000 pounds.

"Phil is as fit as a fiddle so he's a perfect signing. He's also a massive Strictly fan and has been to watch the show several times in previous series," The Sun quoted a show source, as saying.he 43-year-old had retired from professional cricket before the 2003 season in order to participate in the reality television show 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!'.

The telly favourite will find out today which pro dancer he will partner in the series kicking off next month. (ANI)
