Four spectators arrested for racist remarks - PCB

By Staff

LAHORE, Oct 12 (Reuters) Four spectators have been arrested for making racist remarks towards a South African player and official during the final day of the second test, the Pakistan Cricket Board said today.

''The four have been arrested by the police and they are in lock-up right now,'' Nadeem Akram, the PCB's human resources manager, told reporters.

He said the alleged incidents took place in the Imran Khan enclosure of the Gaddafi stadium. The spectators made lewd gestures and racially motivated remarks towards South African security officer Faisul Nagel and a player.
