Batting first, Sri Lanka posted 157/6. In reply, Marcus Stoinis took the bowling attack to the cleaners as he smacked 6 sixes and 4 fours to steer Australia to a comfortable win. Australia won by seven wickets with 21 balls to spare. Stoinis was named the Man of the Match for his quickfire 59* (18).
2. Travis Head (17 balls) vs Scotland, Edinburgh, 2024: Travis Head etched his name into the record books as he joined the elite list of Australian power-hitters with his quickfire 17-ball fifty (joint quickest for Australia) against Scotland in Edinburgh in 2024.
The aggressive left-handed shredded the record books as he scored 80 off just 25 balls, which also saw Australia recording the highest-ever powerplay score of 113/1 (6 overs) in T20I history. Batting first, Scotland posted 154/9 and in response, Australia chased down the target in just 9.4 overs. Head was named the Man of the Match.
3. David Warner (18 balls) vs West Indies, Sydney, 2010: David Warner adopted an ultra-aggressive approach and blasted a half-century in just 18 balls against the West Indies in Sydney, 2010.
His mesmerizing fifty at the top of the order gave Australia a blistering start in the run-chase as they chased down 139-run target in just 11.4 overs. Warner was named the Player of the Match for his quickfire 67 off 29.
4. Glenn Maxwell (18 balls) vs Pakistan, Mirpur, 2014: Just a decade ago, Glenn Maxwell started building a reputation for turning games around in no time. He scored an 18-ball fifty against Pakistan in Mirpur during the 2014 T20 World Cup but it came in a losing cause.
Batting first, Pakistan posted 191/5 with the help of Umar Akmal's 94 (54). Aussies responded with 175 as Maxwell top-scored with 74 off 33.
5. Glenn Maxwell (18 balls) vs Sri Lanka, Colombo, 2016: The Australian all-rounder once again showcased his potential to score runs at a breathtaking pace when he smashed an 18-ball half-century against Sri Lanka in the tense run-chase in Colombo, 2016.

6. David Warner (19 balls) vs South Africa, Melbourne, 2009: David Warner once again features in this list as he scored his second fastest fifty in T20Is, which came against South Africa in Melbourne in 2009.
He achieved the feat in just 19 balls. Warner top-scored with 89 off 43 and helped the team post 182/9. In reply, Proteas were bowled out for 130. Warner was adjudged the Man of the Match.
7. Cameron Green (19 balls) vs India, Hyderabad, 2022: Cameron Green, who is from the new generation displayed his aggressive intent by scoring a 19-ball fifty against India.
His quickfire 52 off 21-ball inning helped Australia post 186/7. However, he ended up on the losing side as India chased down the target with the help of Suryakumar's 69 (36).
