India's domination over Australia continues as they retain the Border Gavaskar Trophy with another comprehensive win over Australia in the 2nd Test in Delhi.

Cheteshwar Pujara scored the winning runs on his 100th Test as India completed their victory by 6 wickets over Australia, this ensuring the BGT stays with India for the time being.

Australia were guilty of reckless batting as some awful shot-making led to a staggering capitulation in the first session on Sunday (February 19). Ravindra Jadeja wrecked the visitors with 10 wickets in the match, 7 of them coming in the second innings.

After India's fantastic win, eminent cricketing personalities congratulated Rohit Sharma and his troops.

Sachin Tendulkar congratulated the Indian team after their victory.

"A real "TEST" of character this match turned out to be with both teams having their moments. @MdShami11 was brilliant in the 1st innings. Axar & Ashwin's partnership brought India back into the game and @imjadeja literally "TURNED" the match in our favour in the 2nd," Tendulkar wrote on Twitter.

Former India player Suresh Raina couldn't hide his emotions and thanked Ravindra Jadeja for the latter's brilliant bowling display.

Dinesh Karthik, who has been part of the commentary team, also didn't forget to send his congratulatory message for the Indian team after the game.

Wasim Jaffer took a cheeky dig at the Australians while explaining his three reasons for India's dominance over Australia. And we can't blame him for that. If you see the statistics of Axar Patel, Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja with the bat and compare it with the Aussie batters, you will get a clear indication.

BCCI secretary Jay Shah also took to Twitter and congratulated the team. He went on to mention Virat Kohli as well, who became the fastest batter to complete 25,000 international runs.

Australian broadcast channel Fox Cricket is still in shock it seems. Their team did capitulate in a bizarre manner, and played some awful and inexplicable shots, which led to their demise.

Yuvraj Singh hailed Ravindra Jadeja for some outstanding bowling. The left-arm spinner has picked up 17 wickets already in this series, all after his long injury lay-off, and Yuvraj congratulated Sir Jadeja for his heroics.

India's assignment up next will be to seal the series as the 3rd Test is set to start from March 1 in Indore.
