Bengaluru, Oct 10: Former India paceman Ajit Agarkar was under attack on social media on Friday night (October 9) and today for questioning captain MS Dhoni's place in the Indian limited overs team.
Dhoni's fans took to Twitter to troll Agarkar. While some felt he was doing it for publicity, others went to the extreme of terming him "not well". Majority of the tweets were against Agarkar while there were few who backed his views.

The reaction from Agarkar came one day after Dhoni-led Indian team lost 0-2 to South Africa in the 3-match Twenty20 International series. The last game in Kolkata on Thursday (October 8) was abandoned due to wet outfield. 34-year-old Dhoni scored 20 not out and 5 in the series.
"The selectors need to have a closer look at what MS Dhoni is doing, not just as captain, but as a player as well," Agarkar was quoted as saying by 'ESPNcricinfo' on Friday.
As soon as this news appeared, Dhoni's fans went on the offensive against the Mumbai man. Agarkar said the selectors need to take a call on Dhoni after the ODI series against South Africa.
The 5-match ODI series starts tomorrow (October 11) in Kanpur.
