Bengaluru, May 7: Cricketers hailed "World Boss" Chris Gayle after witnessing the West Indies' opener smash a hundred for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) against Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in an Indian Premier League 2015 (IPL 8) match here last night.

Kevin Pietersen led the tributes for Gayle, via Twitter. The former England captain called the big Jamaican as "World Boss".

Gayle blasted 117 off just 57 balls as RCB routed KXIP by 138 runs at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Wednesday (May 6). He smashed 12 sixes and 7 fours. And upon reaching his hundred, Gayle celebrated in footballer Cristiano Ronaldo way.
