Canberra, Feb 24: The powerful hitting West Indies batsmen, Chris Gayle smashed the record by becoming the first player to score a double ton in the World Cup history as the West Indies batsman hit record-equalling 16 sixes to notch up an imposing 372 for two against Zimbabwe here today.
