Wellington, Feb 20: Match 9 of the 2015 ICC World Cup between England and New Zealand will be remembered for a massacre. England won the toss, chose to bat first, and were bundled out for 123. If that was not humilating enough, Brendon McCullum came on to demolish whatever little spirit left in the England camp, scoring the fastest 50 in the World Cup history.
Here's how the Twitter world reacted to the massacre.

England know the WC was bit boring to watch the complete 50 overs. So they came up with the idea of #NZvENG match 😜— Shameer Yusuff (@yshameer) February 20, 2015
@BroadcastMoose A few pundits said England would surprise us and they have. They're even worse than we possibly could have imagined.— Pete Dillon (@pdillan1) February 20, 2015
#NZvENG Either McCullum forgot that it was not 20-20 match or he is not satisfied with his price for IPL auction.— Anjani kumar (@PrithviWaasi) February 20, 2015
Well I'm glad I didn't bother getting up to watch that performance. Embarrassing. #NZvENG— Paul White (@Mcwhitethechubb) February 20, 2015
Seriously considering taking 13 March off work to watch AFGvENG. Reckon the Afghanis are a chance against one of the minnows. #NZvENG— Doctor Five-Nil (@DoctorFiveball) February 20, 2015
