Rajkot, April 8: Kolkata Knight Riders' (KKR) Australian opener Chris Lynn stole the show in last night's IPL 2017 match against Gujarat Lions (GL). His superb 93 not out handed Kolkata a memorable 10-wicket victory. Lynn was praised by IPL players, on the micro-blogging website Twitter.

Lynn and captain Gautam Gambhir, who too registered a fine unbeaten half century, helped Kolkata easily chase down 184 in Rajkot on Friday night (April 7).
Mumbai Indians' (MI) veteran offspinner Harbhajan Singh anointed Lynn as the "new sixer king" as he blasted 8 sixes.
Lynn and Gambhir set records on way to taking their team home with 31 balls to spare. 184 is now the highest successful run chase in Twenty20 cricket history, without losing a wicket.
The duo also set IPL record for the opening wicket partnership. They obliterated Chris Gayle-Tillakaratne Dilshan's mark.
Gayle and Dilshan had associated for 167 for the 1st wicket against Pune Warriors in 2013 where the former hit an epic 175 not out in Bengaluru.
