Full List of Indian Capped Players in WPL Auction 2023: From Smriti Mandhana To Harmanpreet Kaur

The BCCI on Tuesday (February 7) released the list of players registered for the inaugural Women's Premier League (WPL) Auction, which is set to be held in Mumbai on Monday (February 13).

A total of 409 players will go under the hammer in the first-ever WPL Auction 2023 with over 246 Indian players and 163 overseas or associate nation stars set to trigger bidding wars among the five franchises.

The five franchises are Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi, Gujarat Giants and Lucknow Warriors. And among the 246 Indian players, 51 have represented the country and some will attract huge bids during the auction.

Indian skipper Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Mandhana, Shafali Varma, Deepti Sharma and Richa Ghosh are some of the players with a Rs 50 Lakh reserve price that will attract many bidders.

Renuka Singh, Pooja Vastrakar, Sneh Rana, Meghana Singh and Jemimah Rodrigues have also registered for Rs 50 Lakhs, the highest reserve price.

Rajeshwari Gaykwad, Shikha Pandey, Harleen Deol and Yastika Bhatia are among 8 Indian players that have registered for the next highest base price of Rs 40 Lakhs.

Meanwhile 33 players have registered with a reserve price of Rs 30 Lakhs. Kiran Nagvire and Sabbineni Meghana, who had good outings in the Women's T20 Challenge, are among the players with the base price of Rs 30 Lakhs.

Veda Krishnamurthy, Anjali Sarvani, Poonam Yadav and Taniyaa Bhatia are also among the players under the base price Rs 30 Lakhs category.
