By Staff

Mumbai, July 17 (UNI) The Future Cup won by India beating South Africa for the first time and Sachin Tendulkar's man of the series trophies have been recovered and would be delivered to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) head office here later today.

BCCI Secretary Niranjan Shah said the luggage containing the team's winners' trophy, Sachin Tendulkar's man of the series trophy, and Yuvraj Singh's and Gautam Gambhir's man of the match medals - won after the 2-1 series victory in Belfast would be handed over at the Board office by this evening.

''The luggage would be delivered at the BCCI office in Mumbai by this evening. It was a normal delay and was nothing to worry about,'' Shah said.

The luggage had been caught up in a ''backlog'' of bags on their way to India via British Airways, the airlines which was to transport the bags from London last week.

The airlines had blamed the backlog on heightened security measures at London's Heathrow airport.
