Ganguly book to hit stands

Kolkata, Feb 20 (UNI) A coffee table book about the life and times of Sourav Ganguly will hit the stands on February 22.

Penned by renowned sports journalist Debashis Dutta, the book contains Sourav's arrival, his rise to supremacy, his ouster and his comeback in the manner befitting the ''Maharaja''.

The book ''Sourav Ganguly--The Maharaja of World Cricket'' looks into Ganguly's life from a person who has been close to the cricketer.

With a foreward from the venerable Geoffrey Boycott, the book replete with inside stories makes a good cricket reading.

The book will be formally launched by Sunil Gavaskar on Thursday here. The man himself, Sourav Ganguly, will be present on the occasion.
