Ganguly to undergo test for sore ankle
Port of Spain, Mar 13 (UNI) Sourav Ganguly's sore ankle, which he suffered last week in a warm-up game, will be examined by team physio John Gloster here today.
India had a huge injury scare on the eve of the warm-up game against the West Indies on March 9 as Ganguly complained of soreness on his right ankle but the former skipper played for 11 overs.
Captain Rahul Dravid was not much bothered about his key batsman's condition, saying it was nothing serious but the team management is not taking any chances now ahead of their World Cup campaign opener against Bangladesh on March 17 at Queen's Park Oval.
India will have net sessions at the Sir Frank Worrell Ground at the University of West Indies today.
