Win-less in three, Gujarat Giants (GG) aim for first win of the season when they face confident Delhi Capitals (DC) in the tenth match of Women's Premier League (WPL) 2024 on Sunday (March 3) at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
GG led by Beth Mooney head into the match on the back of a 6-wicket loss to UP Warriorz, while Delhi Capitals, who bounced back from the opening game defeat with back to back wins, are fresh from a 25-run victory over Royal Challengers Bangalore.

After Shafali Varma's fifty and a few cameos powered DC to 194/5 in their allotted 20 overs, Jess Jonassen (3 for 21 in 4 overs) helped restrict RCB to 169/9 in their allotted 20 overs.
GG, on the other hand, rode on Ashleigh Gardner's late cameo to set a target of 146, which UP Warriorz chased down with 6 wickets and 26 balls to spare, riding on Grace Harris (60* off 33) unbeaten fifty.
GG will look to get back among wins when they take on an in-form DC. This will be their first meeting in Bengaluru, having met twice previously at the two venues in Mumbai during WPL season 1.
