Who won yesterday's WPL Match: Nat Sciver-Brunt and Hayley Matthews helped Mumbai Indians (MI) open their account in Women’s Premier League season 3 with a 5-wicket win over Gujarat Giants (GG) in Vadodara on Tuesday (February 18).
After Matthews’ bowling effort of 3 for 16 in her four overs helped restrict Gujarat Giants to a paltry 120, Sciver-Brunt scored a fiery fifty to finish Mumbai Indians’ run-chase with 3.5 overs to spare at the Kotambi Stadium.

Chasing 121, MI’s top order failed to deliver with Matthews, Yastika Bhatia and skipper Harmanpreet Kaur all failing to impress, but Sciver-Brunt, who had also delivered with the ball earlier in the match, steadied ship to land her team’s first win.
