Gilchrist wins toss, decides to field against Delhi Daredevils

New Delhi, May 15 (UNI) Deccan Chargers skipper Adam Gilchrist won the toss and elected to field in the DLF Indian Premier League match against the Delhi Daredevils here today.

The Daredevils, who lost their last encounter against the Kolkata Knight Riders, would be hoping for a win to keep their chances of a semifinal berth alive.

The hosts have left out South African batsman AB Devilliers, and pacers Pradeep Sangwan and Yo Mahesh while giving the go-ahead to Dinesh Kartik, Pakistani seamer Mohd Asif and all-rounder Rajat Bhatia.

The Hyderabad team has, meanwhile, included Shahid Afridi in their playing XI.
