Karnataka to face Mumbai in Ranji Trophy quarterfinals

K Gowtham took seven wickets to lead Karnataka win over Railways

Bengaluru, November 28: Karnataka beat Railways by a whopping 209 courtesy a seven-wicket haul by spinner K Gowtham in New Delhi on Tuesday (November 28).

After their latest win, Karnataka entered the quarterfinals as winners of Group A with 32 points. Delhi too assured their berth in the last eight stage as the second-placed team from this group with 27 points.

Karnataka will face Mumbai in the quarterfinal in what expected to be an electrifying clash from December 7 to 11.

From Group B, defending champions Gujarat and Kerala, who defeated Haryana by an innings and 9 runs at Lahli, entered the quarterfinals.

From Group C, Mumbai and Madhya Pradesh stormed into the last eight stage while from Group D Bengal and Vidarbha made it to the quarters.
