IPL 2024 is knocking on the door and the Gujarat Titans (GT) will try to maintain their successful journey like the last two editions of the IPL.
The Titans will start their journey by welcoming the five-time champions Mumbai Indians on their home ground on March 24.

Gujarat Titans, apparently the newcomer to the league, have already registered themselves among the champions of the IPL. Like the other franchises of the league, they have maintained a quite perfect mixture of battle-hardened veterans and emerging youngsters.
GT retained 18 players ahead of this year's IPL Auction. They strengthened their squad by the inclusion of experienced players like Umesh Yadav and also many youngsters. The Titans will be led by Shubman Gill, one of the most promising batters of India in recent times.
Gujarat Titans have formed a decent squad of 24 players for the upcoming 17th edition of IPL. They have batters like Kane Williamson, Shubman Gill, David Miller, and Wriddhiman Saha who all are already experienced enough in this format. While the bowling unit of the Titans is also star-studded with bowlers like Umesh Yadav, Rashid Khan, Mohit Sharma and others.

Wridhhiman Saha (39 years 150 days): The Veteran wicketkeeper-batter from Bengal has already played more than 160 matches across 4 franchises in the IPL over the years. He is one of the few Indians who have a century beside their name in the IPL and will be providing the necessary depth in the squad.
Umesh Yadav (36 years 149 days): Umesh joined the GT squad in this year's auction. The fast bowler already has 136 wickets in IPL with an economy rate of 8.43. His inclusion has certainly bolstered the GT bowling unit.
Matthew Wade (36 years 87 days): The Australian wicketkeeper batter is comparatively new to the IPL but has a lot of experience in international cricket. He is expected to play a crucial role with both the gloves and the bat.
Noor Ahmad (19 years 79 days): The youngest member of the GT squad for IPL 2024, hailing from Afghanistan has already shown promising bowling in the last IPL. So, naturally, he will be crucial for the bowling unit of GT this year also.
Robin Minz (21 years 191 days): This 21-year-old Jharkhand-born left-hand batter will be tested for the first time in IPL 2024. He became the first-ever player from the Adivasi community to be a part of the IPL. So, this IPL might be his chance to showcase his community's name in mainstream cricket.
Manav Suthar (21 years 232 days): Manav Suthar, the Rajasthan-born bowling allrounder is yet to be tested in IPL. He has been quite decent for India A with his performances and will be hoping to make an impact at the bigger stage of his career so far.
Gujarat Titans have an average squad age of 28.16 years for this IPL edition. They have players over 32 years in all the categories while having a number of young players in the squad as well.
The last year's runners-up team will be led by a new captain after the departure of Hardik Pandya, and it is to be seen whether they can continue their fairy-tale start in the IPL.
