With Shubman Gill at the helm, GT is looking to recreate the winning formula of 2022 by focusing on young talent and impactful overseas additions. Rashid Khan continues to be the linchpin of their bowling attack, while Sai Sudharsan and Rahul Tewatia bring all-round capabilities to the table. GT’s main challenge will be finding quality replacements for stars like Hardik Pandya and Mohammed Shami to ensure balance in their squad.
As this is a mega auction, GT has released most players from their previous squad except for the retained five. They’ll aim to cover key gaps with targeted auction buys.
GT is expected to prioritize pacers, all-rounders, and top-order batters to complement their retained stars. With ₹69 crore available, they are well-equipped to compete for marquee players and rising talents alike.
