Gujarat Titans have opted to retain most of their immediate picks, but have let go 9 players, including their title-winning captain Hardik Pandya, from the 2023 squad ahead of the mini auction of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024.
GT, who were forced into trading skipper Pandya, have retained star batter Shubman Gill, finisher David Miller, spinner Rashid Khan and pace spearhead Mohammed Shami among the 17 players from the squad that finished runners up in IPL 2023.

Apart from the aforementioned retentions, the 2022 champions have retained Kane Williamson, who missed the whole of last season due to injury after being bought at last year's auction.
Pandya's exit leaves a huge void, but GT also released several fast-bowling options like Alzarri Joseph, Yash Dayal, Shivam Mavi and Pradeep Sangwan, leaving them a task to add depth in the department.
The last season runners up also released a backup wicketkeeper-batter an uncapped Indian player and an international team all-rounder, who has experience leading sides as well.
Gujarat Titans will now look to bring back some of their former players for cheaper price than they paid for them in the previous auction. They will also look to add some exciting T20 talent with 8 slots still left to fill at the auction on December 19, 2023.
Now, as the franchise prepares for the auction, here is a look at Gujarat Titans's squad and remaining purse heading into the bidding process following the retention and release of the players on November 26:
