GT Retention List for IPL 2025: The Gujarat Titans have finalised a core group of retained players for IPL 2025, aiming to preserve a strong foundation for the upcoming season. The franchise has retained players such as Shubman Gill, Sai Sudarshan, and Rashid Khan.

The GT Retention List also includes uncapped players such as Shahrukh Khan and Rahul Tewatia, with the team banking their trust on the pair’s potential for the upcoming season. In the 2023 season, he took an impressive 28 wickets in 17 matches, with an economy rate of 8.03 and a best of 4/11 against Delhi Capitals, solidifying his reputation as one of the top fast bowlers in IPL. His ability to swing the ball both ways made him a consistent threat to the opposition’s top order.

Umesh Yadav

Umesh Yadav joined GT in 2024 for a career-record ₹5.80 crore, adding depth to the bowling unit with his ability to swing the ball at pace. Despite being known for his effectiveness in the powerplay, Umesh played just seven matches, taking eight wickets with an average of 26.25 and an economy rate of 10.00.
