GT vs DC Dream11 prediction, IPL 2023: Fantasy Suggestions, Predicted Playing 11, impact substitute options

GT vs DC Dream11 prediction: Gujarat Titans will host Delhi Capitals in match 44 of IPL 2023 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Tuesday (May 2). The match will start at 7:30 PM after the toss at 7 PM IST.

Hardik Pandya's Gujarat Titans are currently on a three-match winning streak and have won six of their eight matches to sit top of the table with 12 points. David Warner-led Delhi Capitals, on the other hand, suffered their sixth defeat of the season as Sunrisers Hyderabad exposed their lack of batting depth.

As far as head-to-head is concerned, Gujarat Titans lead 2-0 with the latest win coming early last month with a seven-wicket triumph in the national capital. B Sai Sudharsan shone in the game with a half-century.

GT vs DC injury update and key players

GT injury update In-form Sai Sudharsan missed back-to-back games but Gujarat Titans are tight-lipped on the reason behind the southpaw's absence.

GT key players Shubman Gill, Vijay Shankar, Hardik Pandya, and David Miller are all in good form with the bat. Shankar also scored a half-century in the last game while Gill missed it by a run. The good form of GT top-order has limited opportunities for the likes of Abhinav Manohar and Rahul Tewatia in the lower order but they have often made good use of the chances they get.

Among bowlers, Rashid Khan and Mohammad Shami have picked 14 and 13 wickets respectively. However, the Afghan went for 54 runs in his last game against Kolkata Knight Riders. His understudy and compatriot Noor Ahmad, however, left a good impression again as the spinner has now five wickets in two games.

Joshua Little had a good game as well with a couple of dismissals while Mohit Sharma went wicket-less but has been in good form of late to find himself a spot in the playing 11.

DC injury update Delhi Capitals have no injury concerns reported ahead of the game.

DC Key players David Warner has been among the most consistent batter in the team but was out for a duck in the last game. Mitchell Marsh is finally performing to the level he was expected to with a half-century in the last game and was backed by another half-century by Phil Salt. Manish Pandey and Axar Patel have done well in the recent past too. The latter is also crucial with his bowling.

Marsh has been consistently bowling well too and took a four-for in the last game. Ishant Sharma continued his wicket-taking form with four wickets in three games while Mukesh Kumar and Anrich Nortje's forms have dipped. Among spinners, Kuldeep Yadav went wicket-less in the last game but took five wickets in three games before that.

Out of form Sarfaraz Khan and Prithvi Shaw have failed to impress with the bat while Aman Khan hasn't made any impact as well.
