Ahmedabad, May 1: Gujarat Titans (GT) will look to do the double when they clash with Delhi Capitals (DC) in match 44 of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Tuesday (May 2).

Hardik Pandya-led defending champions GT head into the match on the back of their third successive win, while bottom-placed David Warner-led DC are fresh from their sixth loss of the campaign.

Reigning champions GT defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by 7 wickets after beating record champions Mumbai Indians by 55 runs at home. Before those two results, GT beat Lucknow Super Giants away from home after a home loss to Rajasthan Royals.

Earlier in the season, the Gujarat Titans had registered victories over Chennai Super Kings and DC before a defeat to KKR at home, but the holders bounced back with a victory over Punjab Kings.

The Capitals, on the other hand, suffered a 9-run loss to Sunrisers Hyderabad at home in their recent outing after they had beaten the Hyderabad-based side in the reverse fixture away from home.

DC opened their campaign with five successive defeats, but stopped the slide with a victory over Kolkata Knight Riders. Earlier in the season, DC lost to LSG, GT, RR, MI and Royal Challengers Bangalore.
