GT vs LSG, IPL 2023 Match 51: Narendra Modi Stadium Ahmedabad Pitch Report and Weather Forecast

Table-toppers Gujarat Titans host Lucknow Super Giants in match 51 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday (May 7) with the match set to start at 3:30 PM IST.

Hardik Pandya's defending champions GT head into the match on the back of their seventh win of this season, while LSG led by Krunal Pandya are fresh from a No Result. GT has won 7 in 10, whereas LSG has won 5 and had one No Result in 10.

The two sides met earlier this season at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajapyee Ekana Stadium in Lucknow, where GT registered a 7-run win over LSG with Hardik Pandya, Mohit Sharma and Noor Ahmad starring for the reigning champions.

Now, the two sides will clash in the reverse fixture at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, which will host it's sixth match of the season. GT have lost three and won two so far at their home.

GT opened the season with a 6-wicket win over Chennai Super Kings at the venue, but suffered a couple of 3-wicket defeats to Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals in their most recent home fixture.

The reigning champions, however, bounced back with a 55-run win over Mumbai Indians before the 5-run loss to Delhi Capitals in the most recent outing which was a low-scoring thriller at home.
