Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya was seen having a chat with ex-Mumbai captain Rohit Sharma on Sunday (March 24) after their defeat against Gujarat Titans.
Hardik Pandya changed his allegiance from GT to Mumbai ahead of the IPL 2024 and then replaced their long-standing captain Rohit Sharma at the team. There was a lot of controversy regarding the move as fans bashed Hardik Pandya and MI management.

Even on the evening, Pandya was vehemently 'booed' by Gujarat fans and his night ended badly as MI lost to the Titans. But after the match, both Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya were seen chatting with each other.
Rohit Sharma was telling something to Hardik and the current Mumbai captain was listening to the Indian skipper. Rohit and Pandya were also seen exchanging views and the duo were also spotted laughing at each other.

Robin Uthappa, former India player and current expert hailed the Indian captain for his attitude on air. Speaking on JioCinema, Uthappa praised Rohit's mentality and also acknowledged Hardik Pandya for his enthusiasm. He also said the signs are pretty positive for Mumbai Indians.
"It is big of Rohit Sharma. He doesn't have to do that after how things transpired at Mumbai Indians, or at least, the things that we heard. It is also great that Hardik Pandya is listening to him, exchanging his own views. These are great visuals if you are a Mumbai Indians supporter," Uthappa said live on JioCinema.

Rohit Sharma's departure from the Mumbai leadership was a shock to many, but the veteran will be pivotal if the Paltans are to have a decent season under their belt. Rohit's return to IPL was quite sublime as he scored 43 runs off 29 balls with the bat. Hardik also scored 11 runs off 4 balls but couldn't get his team over the line as Gujarat bowled excellently at the death to ensure their victory.
