GT vs MI Playing 11: Gujarat Titans lock horns against Mumbai Indians in Match 9 of IPL 2025 on Saturday (March 29).

Date: Saturday, March 29
Time: 7:30 pm IST
Venue: Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad
Gujarat Titans don't have any injury issues and will be looking to field a strong team. In the last match, they came close against PBKS while chasing 240+, but may make a couple of changes across departments.
Sherfane Rutherford struggled against wide yorkers and GT may look to replace him. Glenn Phillips is an option is Rutherford is dropped from the starting team. Star pacer Mohammed Siraj didn't have the best outing last match on his debut for the franchise, but he is likely to keep his place. But they may bring in Washington Sundar, replacing Arshad Khan, as the former would provide a different option for the team. GT coach Parthiv Patel praised the PBKS bowlers big time and it will all be about stepping up for them as they lock horns against Mumbai.
Amid the gloomy night at Chepauk, Vignesh Puthur was a massive positive for MI. The Kerala-born chinaman spinner picked up three wickets in his debut and can be hugely effective in Ahmedabad as well, with the big boundaries.
Jasprit Bumrah continues to be absent for MI and apart from the ace pacer, everybody is available for selection. In terms of the team, the Paltans have their captain Hardik Pandya back who was suspended in the last match. The India all-rounder is likely to replace Satyanarayan Raju, one of the youngsters who made his debut against CSK. They are likely to stick with their four overseas players for now.
