Ahead of their crucial IPL 2025 clash against Gujarat Titans, the former MI captain enjoyed a light-hearted bonding session with teammates, including young batter Tilak Varma and support staff members.

In a viral video circulating on social media, Rohit was seen confidently manoeuvring the boat, looking relaxed despite MI's underwhelming start to their campaign. The five-time champions stumbled in their season opener against Chennai Super Kings at Chepauk, failing to find momentum with the bat on a slow track. Rohit's personal outing was also forgettable, as he was dismissed for a duck by left-arm pacer Khaleel Ahmed.

With a few days to spare before their next fixture, MI players took the opportunity to unwind before resuming intense practice sessions. The team's decision to engage in off-field activities comes as a strategic move to boost morale following their disappointing start.

Despite their early setback, Mumbai Indians have plenty of positives to take forward. Debutant Vignesh Puthur made an immediate impact with a three-wicket haul against CSK, earning praise from MI bowling coach Paras Mhambrey. "He handled it superbly," Mhambrey said about Puthur's composure under pressure.
