IPL 2024 GT vs PBKS: Bowling Squad Comparison
GT's bowling unit is quite balanced and experienced this season. Even in the last season, the Titans' bowlers played exceptionally well and as a result, the top three bowlers in the race for the purple cap were only from GT. Despite Mohammed Shami's injury, the Titans have enough firepower in their arsenal like Mohit Sharma, Umesh Yadav, Rashid Khan, Sai Kishore, Noor Ahmad and Spencer Johnson who all are ready to carry the Titans through the IPL journey.
In comparison with their rivals the Punjab squad is quite pacer-heavy. The team is heavily lacking in experienced spinners. Arshdeep Singh, Kagiso Rabada, Sam Curran, Rahul Chahar, Harshal Patel and Harpreet Brar will be mostly relied upon. Till now performances of the Punjab bowlers were not up to the mark. In this match, they will be hoping to reverse that.

The 24-year-old medium-fast bowler is expected to play a pivotal role in the match against Punjab.
Arshdeep Singh (PBKS): The 25-year-old Indian fast bowler remains a crucial part of the Punjab bowling unit across the seasons. His ability to bowl in the death overs, mainly in limited-over cricket made him the go-to bowler for PBKS in the slog overs. He bagged 61 wickets in his IPL career and the last IPL he was the highest wicket-taker for the Punjab side. His wicket-taking spree is expected to continue in the next match also.
Kagiso Rabada (PBKS): Rabada has 110 wickets to date in his IPL career. Along with Arshdeep Singh and Sam Curran, he also got 4 wickets for their team in IPL 2024. The South African fast bowler had played only six matches in the last IPL, but now he is back and is expected to cause havoc on opponents' batting lineup.
The champions of IPL 2022 are sitting in fifth position after winning two of the three matches they played while their opponents have managed to win only one match in this campaign.
