Shubman Gill has faced the ridicule of social media after getting dismissed cheaply in the IPL 2024 match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru on Sunday (April 28).

Shubman, the captain of Gujarat Titans, had yet another underwhelming outing with the bat in this IPL season.

Gill departed for only 16 runs in 19 balls as Glenn Maxwell picked up his wicket. The Indian batter didn't look fluent at all at the crease during his stay, as he could only manage a solitary boundary.

Gill's form has been disappointing this season, as the 24-year-old has now five scores under 20 runs for GT. Amid the anticipation of the India squad for the T20 World Cup, the lack of form for Gill has taken him down the pecking order.
