Ahmedabad, May 14: Former champions clash as holders Gujarat Titans host 2016 winners Sunrisers Hyderabad in match 62 of IPL 2023 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Monday (May 15).

Following defeats in their last outing, Hardik Pandya’s GT will look for a win to confirm a top four finish in the IPL 2023 points table, while Aiden Markram-led SRH will look to keep their slim playoff hopes alive.

As it stands, GT are in playoff positions with 16 points, while SRH occupy the ninth spot with 8 points, and a defeat on Monday (May 14) will all but end their chances of finishing in the top four.

Heading into the first meeting of the season and the first between the two sides in Ahmedabad, GT and Sunrisers Hyderabad will be aware of their previous meetings. GT will also be wary of their mixed record at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
