In their third match in IPL 2024, Gujarat Titans will face Sunrisers Hyderabad at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday (March 31).
The Titans had lost their last match against CSK, while SRH will be coming with full confidence as they destroyed MI in their last match, along with scoring the highest-ever innings total in IPL.

Compared to the SRH bowling unit, GT has a more balanced and experienced bowling squad as the SRH squad is quite pace-heavy.
In the previous edition of the IPL, the Gujarat bowling side put on some incredible displays, and as a result, the top three players in the race for the purple cap were only from GT. Though Mohammed Shami will miss the match due to injury, there are others like Mohit Sharma, Umesh Yadav, Rashid Khan, Sai Kishore, Noor Ahmad, and Spencer Johnson to carry the Titans through the IPL journey.
SRH pace attack unit is full of star players like Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Pat Cummins, T. Natarajan and Jaydev Unadkat, who have been playing in IPL for quite some time. As Wanindu Hasaranga will miss the first few matches, their spin attack will be heavily dependent on Mayank Markande.
Mohit Sharma (GT): The 36-year-old veteran bowler has already bagged 3 wickets in this IPL. The Haryana-born right-arm medium pacer was the second-highest wicket-taker in the last IPL with 27 wickets in 14 matches. He also took 122 wickets in his IPL career. It is expected he will continue his wicket-spree against SRH also.
Azmatullah Omarzai (GT): The 24-year-old Afghan medium-fast bowler has high expectations of him due to his decent performance in international cricket. Though he failed to get any wickets in the second match, he began his IPL career with GT in an impressive fashion as he picked up two vital wickets against Mumbai Indians in his IPL debut match.
Pat Cummins (SRH): The SRH skipper will spearhead the SRH bowling along with Bhuvneshwar Kumar. The 31-year-old Aussie fast bowler already got 3 wickets in this season, making his total wicket tally to 48. Cummins, with the experiences he has in international cricket, will help SRH in this match also.
Thangarasu Natarajan (SRH): The Tamil Nadu -born fast bowler missed the second match against MI due to some niggle, after getting three wickets against KKR in the first match. The 32-year-old has 51 wickets in his IPL career with a decent economy rate. He will add some extra fuel to the already star-studded SRH pace battery.
In the last campaign, SRH finished at the bottom of the point table while GT topped the same and reached the final for consecutive second times. These two former champions both lost one of the two matches they played in this IPL. In this duel, they both will try their best to surpass each other to stay ahead in the race.
