GT vs SRH IPL 2024 Highlights: Gujarat Titans (GT) defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by seven wickets in match 12 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday, March 31.
After opting to bat first, SRH scored 162 runs for the loss of eight wickets despite being 56/1 at the off six overs. Mohit Sharma picked three wickets for hosts Gujarat Titans.

In reply, Gujarat Titans also got off to a good start and collected 52 runs for the loss of Wriddhiman Saha's wicket at the end of powerplay. Saha scored 25 off 13 balls.
Gujarat captain Shubman Gill scored 36 runs off 28 balls, and then a 64-run partnership between Sai Sudharsan (45 off 36) and David Miller (44* off 27) took the game completely away from Hyderabad. Miller finished the chase with a six on the first ball of the 20th over from Jaydev Unadkat.

GT look in a hurry now. A top-edge went flying over the keeper for a four, and then second one punched over mid-off for another four. GT: 156/3 in 18 overs.
A pull for four towards backward square leg on the fourth ball from Cummns in the 17th over. A boundary through extra cover after a poor fielder effort on the final ball of the over. SRH: 147/3 in 17 overs.
Sai Sudharsan finds Abhishek Sharma in the deep as Cummins strike to remove the younsgter. Sudharsan departs for 45 off 36. He has put GT in a strong position. The southpaw connected to pull well but a slat catch to Abhishek at deep midwicket.
David Warner gets in the mood. A four and a six from him to start the 16th over. Sai Sudharsan hits a six on the fourth over, and then another maximum on the final delivery. 24 runs in the third over from Marande. GT: 138/2 in 16 overs.
On the leg as Sudharsan crouches low and pulls the Washington Sundar delivery through backward square leg. The youngster has taken the onus on him to take GT past the finishing line. GT: 108/2 in 14 overs. 55 runs needed off 36 balls.
Sai Sudharsan shows class against Australia and SRH captain Pat Cummins. Waited on the back foot and then guided the delivery fine towards the third-man for a four. GT: 98/2 in 13 overs.
Sudharsan decides to break the monotony and drives a full length delivery from Unadkat over mid-off for a four. GT: 90/2 in 12 overs.

On the middle from Bhuvneshwar Kumar, and southpaw Sai Sudharsan flicks it through mid-wicket for a gorgeous-looking shot! The shot has even amazed Bhuvneshwar. End of powerplay, seven from the over. GT: 52/1 in six overs.
Shubman Gill shimmies down the wicket and plays a lofted shot for a six over extra cover. He was hundred percent committed to the shot. GT: 45/1 in 5 overs.
Change in ends for Shahbaz and the left-arm spinner delivers with the wicket of saha who departs for 25 off 13. Saha was looking to play the delivery over mid-on but no power behind the shot. Cummins runs back to take an easy catch.
A gentle full toss from Jaydev Unadkat, and experienced Saha guides it over backward square leg for a six. 11 from the over. GT: 36/0 in 4 overs.
Saha comes down the tack and lifts a Bhuvneshwar Kumar delivery over Pat Cummins a mid-off. GT: 25/0 in 3 overs.
The bottom hands come into play. Full and in the arc from Shahbaz Ahmed, and Saha wastes no time in dispatching it over midwicket. GT: 18/0 in 2 overs.
A four on the fifth ball of the first over. What a timing behind that. A gentle punch through the right of covers for a four. Seven off the first over from Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
A run out on the final delivery. Samad wanted a double, but gets run out after a sharp throw by Noor Ahmad from backward square leg. The right-hander from J&K scored 29 off 14 balls. This was a length delivery from Umesh, and the supreme timing saw the ball reach Rashid Khan at long-off. Markram was just looking to chip it, but a good sliding catch for Rashid. Rashid Khan has clean bowled Six-hitting Machine Heinrich Klaasen. He departs for 24 off 13. This was a wrong'un. Klaasen was expecting the ball to turn towards him.
