Mayank Agarwal's struggle against short-pitched deliveries persisted, as he departed after a sluggish innings, amassing a mere 16 runs off 17 balls before being caught at square leg. This marked the third consecutive match where Agarwal's inability to counter short balls came under scrutiny, raising concerns among fans about his adaptability.

Aiden Markram, who had relinquished the SRH captaincy prior to the season's commencement, failed to dispel doubts surrounding his form. Despite a valiant effort in the previous match against Mumbai Indians, where he managed a 28-ball 42, Markram's innings against Gujarat Titans was deemed subpar. Scoring 17 runs off 19 deliveries, Markram faced criticism for mirroring Agarwal's lack of impact, further exacerbating the frustration among SRH supporters.

Despite the disappointing performance of their top order, Sunrisers Hyderabad managed to post a competitive total of 162/7 in their allotted 20 overs. Abhishek Sharma and Abdul Samad emerged as the top scorers, contributing 29 runs each. Mohit Sharma's stellar bowling spell of 3/25 was a highlight for SRH, supported by commendable performances from Rashid Khan, Noor Ahmed, Azmatullah Omarzai, and Umesh Yadav, who all chipped in with crucial wickets.

As the dust settled on the match, SRH fans were left pondering the team's reliance on its middle order to salvage innings, while the underwhelming performances of Agarwal and Markram loomed large, prompting fervent discussions about the team's strategy and player selections moving forward.
