Their captain Beth Mooney got injured in the very first match and now has been replaced by South African batter Laura Wolvaardt.

Kim Garth has been another fantastic addition to the Giants squad. The Australian joined the Giants as a replacement for Deandra Dottin and has been an instant success for them. She has picked up 5 wickets with the ball in two matches and is the leading wicket-taker for them.
