The defending champions Gujarat Titans will commence their title defense from the opening day of this IPL edition as they host Chennai Super Kings on March 31.

The IPL 2023 is set to start on the final day of March and will continue till May 28. The 16th edition of TATA IPL will see ten teams battle out for the coveted championship. Gujarat Titans were one of the two new franchises that were introduced in the IPL 2022, and they won the IPL title in their debut season.

Hardik Pandya-led Titans beat Rajasthan Royals in the Final to become the IPL Champions. And they will be hoping to emulate the same in the upcoming season.

Gujarat Titans IPL 2023 Group:

Gujarat Titans (GT) have been drawn into Group B. This year, the teams of the same group will face each other once (Home or Away), while they will face the teams from the other group twice (Home and Away), thus maintaining the equilibrium of 14 games per team during the group stage. The Titans are slotted in Group B along with Chennai Super Kings, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Punjab Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad.

The Group A consists of Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals and Lucknow Super Giants.

Gujarat Titans IPL 2023 Fixtures:

GT face CSK in their very first match of this edition. Their first away trip comes on April 4 as they travel to face Delhi Capitals. It is followed by a home match against KKR on April 9 and then a trip to face Punjab Kings on April 13.

GT will face fellow Group B opponents CSK and SRH at home, while they have away meets against PBKS and RCB. Their match against RCB on May 21 will be the final match of their group stage campaign.

The Titans will be up against Mumbai Indians at home on April 25, while they will make the away trip to Wankhede on May 12.

Gujarat Titans will be playing their home games at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium, which hosted the final of the IPL 2022. The Narendra Modi Stadium has the biggest crowd capacity in the world and the defending champions will surely enjoy the full throttle of home support in their matches.
