Team India and Andhra batter Hanuma Vihari is reportedly set to play for 2022 Ranji Trophy champions Madhya Pradesh in the upcoming 2023/24 Indian domestic season.
According to a report from Times of India (TOI), the middle-order batter, who is currently out of reckoning in the national team set up, has decided to move to MP in the forthcoming season.

The report also adds that Delhi left-arm pacer Kulwant Khejroliya will ply his trade for the former champions MP along with Vihari, who is currently preparing for the Duleep Trophy 2023, where he will lead the South Zone team.
"Vihari and Kulwant Khejroliya will play for Madhya Pradesh in the upcoming season. This was decided at a selection committee meeting of the Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association on Monday," a reliable source was quoted as saying by TOI.
MP, who lost to runners up Bengal in the semifinal last seasson, will be coached in the upcoming domestic season by former India wicketkeeper and Kolkata Knight Riders head coach Chandrakant Pandit, who guided MP to their maiden Ranji Trophy title in 2022.
Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA) president Abhilash Khandekar said the details about the squad willl be shared after the selection committee meeting, scheduled for Tuesday (June 27).
"Yes, we had a meeting of our selection committee today, but I don't have the details. I'll get back to you tomorrow," MPCA chief Khandekar said on the latest development.
Vihari started his career representing Hyderabad before he moved to Andhra and led the team in 2018. If the reports are true, then this will be the third team for Vihari in the domestic circuit.
Apart from Vihari and Khejroliya, Team India and Lucknow Super Giants leg spinner Ravi Bishnoi has deciced to switch from Rajasthan to Gujarat for the upcoming domestic season.
Bishnoi posted a story on Instagram announcing the move, with a picture of him wearing the training kit of the Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA) with the caption "new beginning".
