Jalandhar, Oct 29: The senior off-spinner of Team India, Harbhajan Singh and Bollywood actress, Geeta Basra finally became husband and wife. After a five-year-long courtship, the couple tied knots on Thursday, Oct 29.

The couple got married in a gurdwara in Jalandhar, the hometown of Harbhajan, who is also known as Bhajji.

While the groom looked dapper in a off-white sherwani and red turban, the bride was looking resplendent in a traditional red and gold lehenga. Geeta Basra's traditional lehenga was designed by celebrity designer Archana Kochhar.

Sachin Tendulkar and his wife Anjali Tendulkar came to Jalandhar to attend the marriage ceremony. Mukesh Ambani's son Akash was one of the celebrities who attended the wedding ceremony.

The newly-wed couple will throw a grand reception party in New Delhi on Nov 1 and it is expected to be a star-studded function. All cricketers, Bollywood actors, ministers including Prime Minister Narendra Modi are expected to grace the occasion with their presence.
