Former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh has suggested two changes for India's next World Cup match against New Zealand.
The first change involves bringing in fast bowler Mohammed Shami in place of off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin due to the swing-friendly conditions in Dharamsala. The second change is to add either Ishan Kishan or Suryakumar Yadav at the number six spot, with Suryakumar being the preferred choice.

Harbhajan Singh emphasised the challenge of replacing Hardik Pandya, who plays a crucial role in India's lineup as an all-rounder. Due to Hardik's injury, India will need to rethink their strategy for the upcoming match.
Harbhajan Singh said, "Unko bahar bithaiye, pick Shami and either Kishan or SK'"
The injury occurred when Hardik sprained his ankle during a match against Bangladesh, and he is set to miss the match against New Zealand. The good news is that scans revealed no major damage, and the Indian team management hopes to have him back for the match against England.
Harbhajan Singh's recommendations are based on the unique conditions in Dharamsala, which favor seam bowling. Adding Shami, a fast bowler, provides India with a strong bowling option. Suryakumar Yadav, known for his finishing abilities, could bolster the batting lineup.
This match against New Zealand is expected to be a tough test for India, as both teams have been performing well in the tournament. India will need to adapt to Hardik's absence by making strategic changes in their playing XI, as per Harbhajan Singh's advice, to maintain their competitiveness.
