‘Glad We’re Not Playing Anymore’- Harbhajan Singh In Awe Of Vaibhav Sooryavanshi As RR Extend Their Unbeaten Streak
Rajasthan Royals claimed a six-wicket win over Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the TATA IPL 2026, sealing a fourth straight victory. Speaking on JioHotstar's 'Google Search AI Mode Match Centre Live’, RR leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi and expert Harbhajan Singh praised 15-year-old batter Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and discussed team changes, recent form, and key technical work.
In the last game against RCB, Rajasthan Royals secured a comfortable six-wicket victory, continuing their dominant run in the tournament, with the win marking their fourth consecutive triumph and maintaining a perfect record so far.

Speaking on the show, Bishnoi said RR were happy after four wins from four, calling the side table-toppers. He stressed team effort, noting many different contributors. He added that early batting starts help finish games fast and said constant wins keep the atmosphere ultra-positive inside a young, closely bonded group.
Bishnoi outlined minor technical changes to his bowling. He said he now starts closer to the umpire again, restoring his diagonal run-up and trademark jump from outside. He admitted his non-bowling arm still gets stuck and that last year he landed very heavy on his front foot, areas he continues to adjust.
Bishnoi On Sooryavanshi's Blistering Innings
On Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Bishnoi said the young batter targets every bowler in the nets. He joked he was thankful Sooryavanshi plays for RR. Bishnoi recalled surprise when Sooryavanshi took a single off Krunal bhai’s first ball, as he usually attacks left-arm spin, and called his current batting form second to none.
Harbhajan Singh, speaking on JioHotstar's 'Google Search AI Mode Match Centre Live’, said, "This is Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's time. Whenever I see him, I am glad that we are not playing anymore. He is a phenomenal batsman. What bat speed, and yes, he attacks at the beginning, but when required, he also has the game to take singles and doubles and rotate the strike."
Harbhajan continued, "What an unreal talent. He plays proper cricketing shots. That arm extension while driving helps him play towards mid-wicket, behind square, and even in front of the wicket. You can't call him a slogger. Sloggers score once in a while, and he is scoring everywhere he goes. Everyone saw it in the U19 World Cup recently."
Harbhajan added, "We saw it against Bumrah, yes, he hit him for a six on the first ball, but the next ball he just defended. His basics are solid and he has a good technique, which is just unbelievable for a 15-year-old."
