Harbhajan's 'judgment day' tomorrow

New Delhi, Apr 27 (UNI) Combative off-spinner Harbhajan Singh will face his day of reckoning tomorrow when he appears at a disciplinary hearing here to explain his slapping of Team India colleague and IPL rival Shanthakumaran Sree Santh.

Minutes after Kings XI Punjab defeated Mumbai Indians on April 25, Harbhajan apparently slapped Sree Santh. The Punjab team's victory celebration came to halt as everyone watched Sreesanth weeping like a child.

After reviewing the video footage, the IPL imposed a provisional suspension on the offie, pending the hearing before match referee Farookh Engineer.

The hearing will take place at 1300 hrs.

''From the Mumbai Indians, (coach) Lalchand Rajput will be specifically present at the hearing as asked by the adjudicator.

Harbhajan Singh, his vice-captain and team manager will also be present,'' the organisers said in a statement.

''From King's XI Punjab - complainant Neil Maxwell, Yuvraj Singh the captain and S Sreesanth will be present,'' the statement added.

IPL Chairman and Commissioner Lalit Modi will also be present on the occasion.

As Harbhajan is facing a very serious charge he could get a minimum punishment of a suspension for five Tests or ten ODI matches.
