Hardik Pandya and Ravi Bishnoi exchanged a wholesome moment during the latest Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy match between Baroda and Gujarat on Thursday (December 4).
In the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy Elite Group C match at Gymkhana Ground, Hyderabad, Baroda defeated Gujarat by 8 wickets in a dominant display.

Gujarat struggled in their batting innings, bowled out for a mere 73 runs in 14.1 overs. Aarya Desai top-scored with 22 off 15 balls, showing some resistance with three boundaries and a six. However, the rest of the batting lineup faltered, with Raj Limbani being the standout bowler for Baroda, claiming 3 wickets for just 5 runs in 2.1 overs. Atit Sheth also bowled impressively, taking 2 wickets for 14 runs. The Gujarat innings was marked by regular wickets and poor partnerships, with crucial dismissals including a run-out and catches by Baroda players. Several Gujarat batsmen failed to make significant contributions, leading to a low total that ultimately collapsed in less than 15 overs.
Baroda chased the target comfortably in 6.4 overs, scoring 74 for 2. Shashwat Rawat anchored the innings with a quick 30 off 19 balls, including six boundaries. Vishnu Solanki struck 27 runs off just 15 deliveries with four fours and a six, while Hardik Pandya contributed 10 runs. Hardik went for a big hit and got caught in the deep as Ravi Bishnoi picked his wicket.
As Hardik was caught in the deep, Ravi Bishnoi had his hands up in the air in celebration. Pandya was in the motion of running as he saw himself get dismissed, but the India player joined in the celebration of his own dismissal!
