Hardik Pandya's stellar performance in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup has catapulted him to the No.1 spot in the latest ICC Men's T20I Rankings for all-rounders. Rising two places, Pandya is now tied with Sri Lankan sensation Wanindu Hasaranga at the top.
His significant contributions in the final, including crucial wickets of Heinrich Klaasen and David Miller, were instrumental in India's triumphant campaign, making him the first Indian man to achieve this top ranking in the all-rounder category.

Pandya's all-round brilliance was evident throughout the tournament. He provided impactful cameos with the bat lower down the order and made vital breakthroughs with the ball. Finishing with 144 runs at an impressive strike rate of over 150 and claiming 11 wickets, his consistent performances were a cornerstone of India's success.
However, his standout performance came in the final. With South Africa seemingly in control, Pandya's crucial wicket of Klaasen turned the tide. He then bowled a nerve-wracking final over, defending 16 runs to secure India's T20 World Cup title.
The updated rankings also saw shifts among other top all-rounders. Marcus Stoinis, Sikandar Raza, Shakib Al Hasan, and Liam Livingstone each moved up one spot. Conversely, Mohammad Nabi fell four places, dropping out of the top five.
The bowling rankings witnessed notable changes, with South Africa's Anrich Nortje making a significant leap. Nortje rose seven places to a career-best second position, trailing only behind Adil Rashid, who maintains the top spot with 675 rating points.
India's pace spearhead, Jasprit Bumrah, who was awarded Player of the Tournament for his 15 wickets, climbed 12 spots to just outside the top ten, his highest position since late 2020. Additionally, Kuldeep Yadav entered the top ten, moving up three places to joint-eighth. Other notable advancements included Arshdeep Singh, who moved up four spots to a career-best No.13 after finishing as the leading wicket-taker at the T20 World Cup, and Tabraiz Shamsi, who rose five positions to reach the top 15.
The top ten of the batting rankings saw minimal changes, with South Africa's skipper Aiden Markram being the only significant mover, dropping two points after a subdued tournament with the bat. Australia's Travis Head continues to sit at the top of the table after dethroning India's Suryakumar Yadav, who remains at second place.
Hardik Pandya's ascension to the top of the T20I all-rounder rankings underscores his vital role in India's T20 World Cup victory and highlights his exceptional all-round abilities.
