Hardik Pandya's first reaction after divorce rumours as he trains with Team India in New York ahead of T20 World Cup

Hardik Pandya trained with the rest of his Team Indian teammates in New York ahead of the T20 World Cup 2024 on Tuesday. The 30-year-old India vice-captain for the ICC showpiece event which kick starts from June 2, said he was excited about being in the USA for the T20 World Cup 2024.

Hardik Pandya did not travel with the first batch of Team India members, who left for the T20 World Cup 2024. As per reports flew to New York from London. The star all-rounder has been in news lately for his rumoured split with wife Natasa Stankovic.

"Very exciting to be here in New York. Has a good vibe, bright sun out," Hardik Pandya said in a video posted by the BCCI on Wednesday, May 29.

Soham Desai, India's strength and mental conditioning coach, overlooked the team's first training session after arriving in the USA. The likes of Sanju Samson, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Avesh Khan and Yuzvendra Chahal have also landed in the country. They were not among the first batch of the players who flew out of India.

"We have not yet played cricket. We have come here for a team activity. The weather is really good, so looking forward to it," Jasprit Bumrah said.

Desai added that the idea was to get acclimated to the US conditions and adjust to the US time zone. The video posted by the BCCI showed the likes of India captain Rohit Sharma, Shivam Dube, Arshdeep Singh, Suryakumar Yadav, Sanju Samson, Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav playing football.

Virat Kohli is yet to join the squad as India gear up for their only warm-up match against Bangladesh on June 1. Their first match of the T20 World Cup 2024 is against Ireland on June 5. The Men in Blue will face Pakistan on June 9 in New York.
