India all-rounder Hardik Pandya's latest scan reports have come back. The all-rounder suffered an ankle injury during the match against Bangladesh on Thursday.
Hardik Pandya injured his left ankle while bowling in Indias World Cup. 2023 match against Bangladesh in Pune. The bowler hobbled off the pitch, and then he was sent for scans in a local Pune Hospital.

And according to reports, the initial scan hasn't revealed any major injuries for the Indian player. It has been reported that, although the ankle problem was deemed to be something serious, it is not as damaging as it was thought earlier.
Pandya didn't take any part in the Bangladesh match as India secured a comfortable 7-wicket victory over the Tigers in Pune. But questions are now arising how long will Pandya remain sidelined for India in the World Cup?
Although his ankle injury may not be serious, an official confirmation is yet to come. A clearer situation will emerge when the BCCI medical staff announce the severity of Hardik's issue.
But it is understood that the Indian all-rounder may not be rushed into action. Hardik is considered a pivotal part of the team and the management won't hurry him into the pitch.
India are set to play New Zealand on Sunday (October 22) in Dharamshala and it looks like Hardik won't play any part in that.
