Hardik Pandya has joined MS Dhoni in a unique list in the ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy on Tuesday (December 2).
Hardik, who is currently playing for Baroda in the SMAT 2025, has looked in excellent touch with the bat, and in the recent match against Punjab, he registered his name with the former India captain. Hardik has now joined Dhoni as the second player to hit 300 and more sixes in T20 cricket without scoring a hundred in the format.

His unbeaten 77 off 42 balls propelled Baroda to a thrilling seven-wicket victory over Punjab in a Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (SMAT) 2025 Elite Group C match, including 4 sixes.
His first six in that innings pushed him past the 300-six mark, matching Dhoni's unique feat. Pandya's T20 career best remains 91, across 268 innings and 309 matches with 303 sixes total. Hardik is also nearing his full fitness and is expected to be part of the India squad for the South Africa T20I matches.
MS Dhoni achieved 350 sixes in 355 T20 innings without a single century, previously standing alone among Indians. The former India captain can further extend that tally as he features for Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2026.
