Hardik Pandya releases comeback teaser, Mumbai Indians captain seen bowling in Instagram post ahead of IPL 2024

Hardik Pandya is in all readiness to lead the Mumbai Indians (MI) in the IPL 2024. The all-rounder released his comeback teaser on Instagram on Saturday, January 27.

Hardik has been out of action ever since picking an ankle injury during India's match against Bangladesh in the World Cup 2023. He has missed out on three T20I series and an ODI series following the injury.

However, the 30-year-old now looks set to make his comeback with the IPL 2024. In the video posted on Instagram, Hardik Pandya can be seen sweating out hard on the field. He can also be seen bowling full-throttle towards the end of the video.

"I will make sure I cover every single thing and every day," Hardik Pandya said after going through his fitness drills and practice session in Baroda.

"Good to be back to a place for improvement, I take this as a temple, the amount of learning I have learned on this ground. What I have learnt at this venue is priceless. My journey started at the same ground 17 years ago," Hardik Pandya can be heard saying at the beginning of the video.

Hardik Pandya, who led Gujarat Titans to title win in 2022, was traded back to Mumbai Indians ahead of the IPL 2024 auction. Later after the World Cup, the five-time champions officially named Hardik Pandya as the successor of Rohit Sharma at the franchise.

Notably, Hardik Pandya had left Mumbai Indians ahead of the IPL 2022 with captaincy ambitions. He led Gujarat Titans in the final against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the IPL 2023.
