Hardik Pandya Sets Ambitious Goal After India s T20 World Cup Triumph I Want to Win 10 More ICC Titles

"I have 10 more years left in me and I want to win 10 more ICC titles. That's my goal," Pandya said, outlining his long-term vision with the Indian team.

Emotional Victory at Home

Winning the World Cup on home soil made the triumph even more special for the star all-rounder. Pandya admitted that the emotional impact of lifting the trophy in front of Indian fans was overwhelming.

"It's quite emotional because winning the World Cup in India, the excitement of the people, it's amazing. The effort we have put in... from yesterday I knew we are champions," Pandya said.

The all-rounder added that the team's confidence was so strong ahead of the final that he never considered defeat as an outcome.

"The only self-belief I had was there was no other result. Losing wasn't a thought," he said.

Lessons from the 2024 World Cup Final

Pandya also reflected on the experience of previous ICC finals, revealing how memories from the 2024 T20 World Cup final shaped his mindset in crucial moments.

"When I was bowling the 19th over against England in the semi-final, I was thinking about the 2024 World Cup final," he explained.

He also shared how he encouraged teammates Ishan Kishan and Abhishek Sharma to stay positive before stepping out to bat.

"I told Kishan and Abhishek that when you go out to bat, think of good memories," Pandya said.

Special Praise for Samson and Kishan

Pandya reserved special praise for Sanju Samson and Ishan Kishan, whose performances played a major role in India's successful campaign.

"This is what life teaches you. When you work hard and try to be happy in others' happiness, God gives you opportunities," he said.

According to Pandya, their journey during the tournament carries a powerful message for aspiring athletes across the country.

"It's a learning for the whole nation - when you stay quiet and keep working hard, opportunities eventually come your way. Really proud of them."

A New Era for Team India

India's emphatic victory in the T20 World Cup final has marked the beginning of a new era for the team, with players like Pandya determined to extend the country's dominance in global cricket.

With a blend of experienced stars and emerging talent, the Men in Blue now look poised to chase even greater success on the international stage.
