Hardik Pandya speaks about 'First Love' after batting brilliance, 'Its been my Life...'

Hardik Pandya once again showcased his all-round brilliance, playing a crucial role in India's 15-run victory over England in the fourth T20I at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune.

His knock of 53 runs was crucial for India as they beat the England team to win the series 3-1.

Despite being renowned for his all-round abilities, Pandya holds his batting performances close to his heart, as he cherishes the feeling of scoring big and guiding India to victories.

"Batting has always been my number one (love) or close to my heart. That's a very satisfying day, and at the same point of time before sleeping (it) gives me a wonderful feeling and I've always had a good sleep post that," he shared in a video posted by the BCCI on X.

A key figure in India's T20 World Cup triumph in the West Indies last year, Pandya also underlined his unwavering commitment to the sport, which he considers his top priority.

"For me, I love this sport way too much; it's been my life, it's been my priority, it's been my first love. The sport does not wait much, your first love always gives you the kiss back," the India star added.

Pandya further emphasized his deep gratitude toward cricket, acknowledging the immense love he has received from the game.

Expressing his appreciation for the fans, Pandya described them as his biggest asset and a significant source of motivation.

"I have always been someone who has played for the fans. When fans are there, when fans are chanting, it gives me the added motivation. At the same point of time, I really want to do well for them," he concluded.

Reflecting on the impact of India's T20 World Cup victory, Pandya acknowledged that life has changed significantly for him since then.
