Indian cricket star Hardik Pandya has stormed the internet after winning $100,000 (approximately Rs 95 lakh) in a baseball challenge organised by popular YouTuber MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson. Pandya competed against the internet sensation in a special sports challenge featuring several global sporting icons. However, the Indian all-rounder won hearts with his gesture of donating the entire prize money to animal welfare organisations.

The challenge video also featured basketball stars LeBron James and Caitlin Clark, footballer Erling Haaland, gymnast Simone Biles and figure skater Alysa Liu. Pandya had to hit three baseballs out of the ground to claim the $100,000 prize. Unlike professional baseball, the challenge involved a pitcher gently lobbing the ball towards the batter.
